Matt Gaetz Earns Street Cred as Meghan McCain Officially Kvetches about him and Lauren Boebert being America First

Meghan McCain complained over a clip from last night’s speech that the President of Ukraine gave at the U.S. Capitol building. McCain ranted, “Lauren Boebert and Matt Gaetz are an embarrassment. Have some respect for the man who stands in front of you and get off your phones.”

McCain obviously believes the United States should be bending over backward to help Volodymyr Zelenskyy, for traveling here during the war to ask for more funding. The U.S. has already committed $50 billion to Ukraine’s war effort, but it is seemingly never enough in the eyes of some, and Zelenskyy has shown up to demand more.

U.S. House Reps. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) and Boebert (R-CO) are only asking for accountability for the monies already sent to the war effort, in order to make sure the funds are getting where they are supposed to be going, and not into the pockets of some who want to profit from war and pain.

Gaetz commended Zelenskyy’s Twitter effort and shared that America comes first to him.

“President Zelenskyy should be commended for putting his country first, but American politicians who indulge his requests are unwilling to do the same for ours. Hemorrhaging billions of taxpayer dollars for Ukraine while our country is in crisis is the definition of America Last. He did not change my stance on suspending aid for Ukraine and investigating fraud in transfers already made.”

Gaetz also shared Boebert’s response to Zelnskyy’s address adding “Well Said!”

Boebert is also calling for accountability for the funds sent to Ukraine as well as calling on the United States Commander in Chief to secure our border where we are facing our own invasion.

Many in the political arena as well as the mainstream media, are up in arms over the pair calling for accountability as well as putting America First as Ukraine is a war with Russia. America has a crisis of its own that need to be dealt with. Many social services are overwhelmed by the influx of illegal immigrants crossing our borders.

American citizens who need help are being placed on the back burner as illegal immigrants are taking up much of our social resources including homeless shelters. As the government has failed to keep massive hordes of migrants from flooding the border, the toll is taking effect across the country.

It seems that very few in Congress are willing to take a stand and call for accountability, and demand that America be put first in policies.
