Meghan McCain Excoriated on Twitter After Declaring ‘We Can Win 2024 Without Trump’

It is probably safe to say that Meghan McCain has an intense dislike for Donald Trump. Some could even say she quite possibly hates Trump. Last night with Virginia looking as though it was going to go to Republicans, as it did, McCain declared, “We can win 2024 without Trump”

While Youngkin was able to win over voters who did not like or vote for former President Trump, many of his votes came from the Trump base, without them he could not have won. While Youngkin declined to have Trump come to the state and stump for him, the pair talked frequently on the phone, and Trump campaigned for Youngkin in other ways.

Trump endorsed Youngkin immediately after his nomination. The Washington Post reported, “The entire Youngkin campaign was built around ‘America first’ policies so it meant he didn’t have a lot to prove,” said a person familiar with the conversations who requested anonymity because they were not authorized to speak publicly. “If you are someone who believes Trump always has to be scorching the earth then you are going to be disappointed. If you are someone who believes that winning is important then you are going to be happy.”

Many Twitter users disagreed with McCain’s statement.

“Ooof. Time to put a cork in it. This could be your worst take of the evening.”

Diamond and Silk told McCain to shut it.

“You are a RHINO and a Biden supporter. Please shut the entire F#@% up. We don’t need your input or opinion, Traitor!”

Darrin Herndon pointed out, “Couldn’t have got to this point without President Trump…”

TheThinker provided a reason for her to reword her tweet, “I disagree, you’ll need him. 74,216,154 legal voters should provide you with enough reasons to reword your tweet.”

One user shared Donald Trumps statement from the 22nd of October on McCain. This statement was a response to the release of her book “Bad Republican”

“Isn’t it funny that Meghan McCain, who has always been a bully and basically a lowlife, is now complaining that it was she who was bullied by the Slobs and Radical Left maniacs of “The View.” At the request of many of her representatives, I made it possibly for her father to have the world’s longest funeral, designed and orchestrated by him, even thought I was never, to put it mildly, a fan. In his own very special way, he was a RINO’s RINO. Despite his fighting against me, I won Arizona by a lot in 2016 and won Arizona by even more in 2020 — Unfortunately the vote counters in 2020 were farm more important than the candidate (See the determinative Report issued Wednesday by the Arizona Auditors!). I have since found out that McCain, who was close to last in his class at Annapolis, sent the fake and totally discredited scam Dossier to the FBI, hoping to stop the “Trump Train.” In any event, Meghan should fight the Communist instead of explaining how they beat her, hurt her, and made her “physically ill.” She should fightback against the Losers of The View the way she fights against very good and well-meaning Republicans, and she would do herself a world of good!”

McCain is not missed on The View and seems to many to be more willing to fight against Republicans than fight against liberals. She appears to be digging in her heals appears to be trying to take every chance she sees to take swipes at the former President, even if it makes her look bad.
