Megyn Kelly: I ‘Don’t Suffer From Trump Derangement Syndrome and Can Still Engage in Fair Analysis

Following last night’s presidential debate, former Fox News and NBC News reporter Megyn Kelly tweeted out that “Trump won this debate, handily. Biden wasn’t a force at all. Trump was substantive, on-point, well-tempered. Definitely helped himself, when it mattered most.”

President Trump retweeted the tweet and exclaimed, “Thank you Megyn!”

Many liberals were furious to see this tweet and as many news outlets pointed out, Kelly and Trump had a feud while he was running for president initially after he was upset with her moderating during a 2015 Republican debate.

According to CNN, however, Trump and Kelly later “cleared the air” during a private meeting in Trump’s office in April 2016.

Actress and activist Patricia Arquette asked Kelly in one reply to the tweet, “Do you have windmill cancer? I’m getting concerned.” Arquette appeared to be mocking a previous statement by Trump that he was told noise from windmills cause cancer.

Kelly shot back at Arquette, “Nah, just don’t suffer from Trump Derangement Syndrome and can still engage in fair analysis. You wouldn’t understand.”

Arquette wasn’t to be denied the last word however, and she responded by saying, “This is fair analysis. Trump has lowered the bar in every way imaginable.”

“You accept his pathological lying. This is an analysis of you and your clear bias. He was just seething and muted instead of talking and sputtering all over his opponent,” Arquette claimed.
