Michelle Obama Regurgitates Message Of Desperation in New Plea For Voters to Turn Out in the 2022 Midterm Elections

At the beginning of October of 2020, we reported that Michelle Obama released a “closing argument” video in what appeared to be a final appeal to voters ahead of the election.

Later in the month, however, another video was released by the Biden campaign where the former First Lady urged Americans to “Vote like your life depends on it.”

In that video, it appeared that Obama was blaming then-President Donald Trump for the spread of COVID, suggesting that Joe Biden could fix it.

Of course, COVID cases are now at an all-time high as Biden has done little to stop the spread, and now there is a new variant as well.

In a new ad, Obama has regurgitated the message of desperation from that video in a new appeal to the voters  ahead of the 2022 midterm elections where she begs, “We’ve got to vote like the future of our democracy depends on it.”

The ad was published today in the New York Times and is a letter titled “Fight For Our Vote.”

In the letter, Obama and her voting rights organization When We All Vote called on Americans to continue engaging in democracy amid what CNN described as “A historic attack on voting rights.”

Obama insisted in the letter, which was signed by 30 left-leaning organizations, “We stand united in our conviction to organize and turn out voters in the 2022 midterm elections, and make our democracy work for all of us.”

The NAACP, Stacey Abrams’ Fair Fight Action, Voto Latino Foundation, NextGen America, LeBron James’ More Than A Vote, and Rock the Vote are among the organizations that signed.

Obama also lobbied for the passage of the so-called “Voting Rights Act” and declared, “We must give Congress no choice but to act decisively to protect the right to vote and make the ballot box more accessible for everyone.”

The letter referenced Jan. 6 and the various GOP-led voter integrity bills that have been passed at the state level across the country after the free-for-all that took place last election.
