Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo had some harsh words after it was reported that the Biden administration announced that it is ready for negotiations with Iran.
Retweeting an appearance that he made on Newsmax, Pompeo said, “A weak and appeasing America will only embolden Iran and hurt the American people.”
“We built out an enormous coalition of Gulf states and Israel that want to push back on Iran — the US must be continue to be a part of that,” Pompeo added.
During the interview with Newsmax, Pompeo said, “We understood that the greatest threat to the American people was terror emanating from the Islamic Republic of Iran. Our greatest friend and ally in the region was the people of Israel.”

In a tweet yesterday, Pompeo shared the article regarding the Biden administration’s announcement and said, “As SoS, I led a response to the Iranian threat that protected the American people from its terror and supported Israel.”
“If this administration decides to adopt the European Union model of accommodation, it will guarantee Iran a path to a nuclear arsenal,” Pompeo explained.
