U.S. Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) today expressed her outrage over a story that has received little traction thus far in the mainstream media.
According to Fox News, police records show that a North Dakota man is free after admitting he mowed down a “Republican” teen over politics.
Shannon Brandt posted a $50,000 bond after fatally striking Cayler Ellingson with his vehicle following a “political argument,” according to the police records.
Greene shared a screenshot of the article from Fox News in a tweet as she lamented, “A left wing political terrorist is walking free after intentionally killing an 18 year old because he was a Republican just weeks after Biden declares war on MAGA.”
“Not one J6 defendant is charged with murder yet they are rotting pretrial in jail not allowed to post bail,” Greene noted.

Greene later retweeted a thread from journalist Raheem Kassam where he pointed out that the killing was similar to the one committed by James Fields in Charlottesville, VA.
Kassam explained, “James Fields got two life sentences, plus 419 years, plus $12m in litigation expenses for the murder of Heather Heyer in 2017. No chance of parole.”
“Let’s see what Shannon Brandt gets for murdering Cayler Ellingson in the way, this week. So far, he’s released on a $50k bond,” Kassam continued.
Kassam then noted that “At the time of Heyer’s murder, Republican AG Jeff Sessions said: ‘Last summer’s violence… cut short a promising young life… Today’s indictment should send a clear message… that we aggressively prosecute violent crimes of hate that threaten the core principles of our nation.'”
“Does Merrick Garland even know Ellingson’s name? Do any producers at CNN, the BBC, MSNBC? Etc? Will there be vigils? I’m confused! Why isn’t everyone saying his name?” Kassam wondered.
