Idaho’s new Attorney General, Republican Raul Labrador, who previously represented Idaho’s 1st in the U.S. House and was also a member of the Freedom Caucus, announced that the state of Idaho is suing the Biden administration over its new migrant parole program.
Labrador replaced former Idaho Attorney General Lawrence Wasden who was in his fifth term as attorney general, beating him in the primaries.
This legal effort has been filed in the state of Texas. Idaho is one of a 20-state coalition moving forward to make sure the current administration is complying with existing federal immigration law.
Labrador shared the news on Twitter:
“I am suing the Biden administration to ensure they comply with existing federal immigration laws. I will always hold this administration accountable.”

Biden announced earlier this month that 30,000 migrants from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, and Venezuela would be allowed to enter the United States under the program, they just need to apply before they come and have a sponsor.
Labrador said of the new program and the lawsuit against the Biden administration, “Federal law tells the Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security to exercise discretionary authority, evaluating individual immigrants on a ‘case by case’ basis. The Biden administration is now attempting to create a new federal ‘program’ that goes way beyond case-by-case review and potentially grants status to hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants. If this administration wants to amend federal immigration law, they need to ask Congress.”
America First Legal is also part of the lawsuit against the Biden administration. America First Legal Vice-President and General Counsel, Gene Hamilton issues a statement on the lawsuit, “The limitations and commands of the Immigration and Nationality Act are not mere suggestions, but the Biden Administration has adopted radical policy after radical policy to reshape our nation’s immigration system to fit its extreme open borders agenda. Many of its current policies and programs–such as the one at issue in this case–rely upon an abusive, incoherent view of the ‘parole’ power in the Immigration and Nationality Act. We are proud to stand with these courageous Attorneys General to tell President Biden and his administration, ‘no more,’”
As these states push back on the Biden administration, illegal immigrants continue to flood our southern border. This brings to mind a quote from former Arizona Governor Jan Brewer, “A nation without borders is like a house without walls – it collapses. And that is what is going to happen to our wonderful America.”

By design.
ICE is even in on the program. Their charter is being shredded, cross cut, and burned. By fiat of their Big Guy Mayorkas.
Both agencies are disregarding the laws under which they were authorized.
Seems there is an major epidemic.
Too many federal agencies and states who are moving beyond serving the people.
Is that called a governdemic? Can we call it GOVID?
Beautiful ~ EVERY American citizen should be able to join that lawsuit – we’ve all suffered because of his policies or lack of.
