U.S. House Rep (D-MD) Jamie Raskin is back at it again on the third day of the second impeachment of former President Donald Trump in the U.S. Senate. Many have said they aren’t even watching on TV and others have claimed this impeachment is not legitamate without Chief Supreme Court Justice John Roberts residing over the proceedings.
Nevertheless, it goes on, and the Democrats continue to use clips cut to their liking to attempt to prove that former President Trump allegedly incited violence on January 6th that led to an angry mob storming the U.S. Capitol Building in Washington D.C. Raskin, like U.S. House Rep Adam Schiff (D-CA) is very much into being dramatic and theatrical, and that is a fact, whether you believe or trust the words coming out of his mouth or not.
ABC News, very arguably a left leaning but mainstream news organization affiliated with the Disney Corporation reported on a short clip of Raskin’s speech captioning it:
Rep. Jamie Raskin: “January 6 was culmination of the president’s actions…The insurrection was the most violent and dangerous episode so far in Donald Trump’s continuing pattern and practice of inciting violence. But I emphasize—so far.”

Greg Kelly of the right-leaning news organization NewsMax fired back directly at Rep Raskin vehemently disagreeing with the way he has been characterizing Donald Trump. Kelly even took it a step further by saying what he really thinks of Raskin.
Rep. Jamie Raskin: “January 6 was culmination of the president’s actions…The insurrection was the most violent and dangerous episode so far in Donald Trump’s continuing pattern and practice of inciting violence. But I emphasize—so far.” Kelly said, mincing no words.
Raskin. Jamie Raskin is a LIAR. A LIAR. He just told the Charlottesville LIE about TRUMP. LIE. Damn this is bad. @RepRaskin you LIE.

He went on to call Raskin a “ham” in another tweet:
“I know one when I see one. JAMIE RASKIN is a HAM. He’s enjoying this. Bad for the country, but Great for Jamie’s spot in the Beltway/Swamp. VANITY FAIR PARTY INVITE COMING JAMIE!!!!!!!!!”

Joe Pollak said that Rep Raskin inevitably brought up Donald Trump’s comments on the 2017 events in Charlottesville, Virginia. He pointed out that as Democrats often do, Raskin in his view took Donald Trump’s comments out of context and chose not to include how Trump “condemned the violence and the neo-Nazis”. Pollak went on to say “Everything in this presentation is a lie” See the tweet below:
Inevitable: @RepRaskin brings up Charlottesville #finepeoplehoax. Does not play the part where Trump condemned the violence and the neo-Nazis. Everything in this presentation is a lie. #ImpeachmentTrial

It’s unlikely that the U.S. Senate will convict former President Trump but the Democrats are glad to do this impeachment anyway as it allows them to trash and bash Donald Trump on live TV. They seriously do not want him to ever be able to run for president again, and if Trump does, they want to make it hard for him to win in our view.
