Nick Sandmann Delivers Powerful RNC Speech in Front of Lincoln Memorial, Closes By Donning MAGA Hat

Covington Catholic High School graduate Nick Sandmann delivered a powerful speech tonight at the Republican National Convention, appearing in front of the Lincoln Memorial in Washington D.C, donning a MAGA hat at the end like the one he wore when he attended the March for Life last year.

A video that was shown before the speech highlighted his saga and how his fate turned when he attended that march and stood up for himself in front of the same monument where he gave the speech.

The Trump campaign tweeted out about the speech, saying “Nicholas Sandmann attended the 2019 March for Life, then became the subject of a left-wing media defamation campaign. Nick Sandmann fought back against cancel culture and won. Now he stands with President Trump’s call for a return to fair and honest reporting.”

President Trump retweeted that message as well as the complete speech by Sandmann. Sandmann thanked President Trump in the speech for getting “to share some of his story.”

In his speech, Sandmann referenced the MAGA hat wondering how “the simple act of putting on that red hat would unleash hate from the left” and make him the target of “network and cable news networks nationwide.”

“Angel Mom” Mary Ann Mendoza was scheduled to speak at the convention, but her appearance was cancelled after a retweet she made earlier in the day. She apologized but it was not enough. America First supporter Jarome Bell called the move “pathetic.”
