‘Of Course They Did’ MSNBC Plays to Their Audience, Bypasses Airing Rittenhouse Defense’s Closing Argument

In a shocking move by a so-called cable news outlet, MSNBC bypassed airing Kyle Rittenhouse defense’s closing argument.

Not only that, but they aired the prosecutor laying out his case to the jury that Rittenhouse was guilty of murder.

The decision came as no surprise to conservative commentator Tim Young, who shared a Fox News article on the move in a tweet and said, “Of course they did.”

In another tweet, Fox News’ David Asman said of the decision, “MSMedia has an Avenatti-like crush on rifle-posing prosecutor in Rittenhouse trial.’

“Like them, he uses political prejudice in attempt to dismiss hard evidence, even when that evidence is incontrovertible. As Judge reminded: ‘This is not a political trial,'” Asman added.

CNN also declined to air the first hour of the defense’s closing arguments as both outlets instead cut to President Joe Biden’s “infrastructure” bill signing initially.

MSNBC then returned to its normally-scheduled programming with “Deadline: White House” host Nicolle Wallace, who focused on hyping up Trump ally Steve Bannon’s surrender to authorities after his rare indictment for defying a congressional subpoena.

As Fox News noted:

Long before the Rittenhouse trial even began, the teen was villainized by the liberal media, particularly by MSNBC.

MSNBC contributor Jason Johnson compared Rittenhouse to a “school shooter” and even declared him “the enemy” while analyst John Heilemann said he was “arguably a domestic terrorist” who crossed state lines “with the intent to shoot people.”

“Morning Joe” co-host Joe Scarborough claimed Rittenhouse was “just running around shooting and killing protesters.”

“What a dark, dystopian scene where a 17-year-old boy is carrying around a rifle running around and gunning down protesters,” Scarborough added.
