One Day After Joining Biden at Bill Signing, Pelosi Joins Schiff on the Positive COVID Test List

It was announced today by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s Deputy Chief of Staff Drew Hammill that she has tested positive for COVID.

The announcement comes after Pelosi joined Biden yesterday as he signed the Postal Reform Bill and was seen in close proximity to him.

Hammill declared in a two-part tweet, “After testing negative this week, Speaker Pelosi received a positive test result for COVID-19 and is currently asymptomatic.”

“The Speaker is fully vaccinated and boosted, and is thankful for the robust protection the vaccine has provided,” Hammill continued.

Hammill added, “The Speaker will quarantine consistent with CDC guidance, and encourages everyone to get vaccinated, boosted and test regularly.”

In a separate tweet, Hammill reported that “A planned Congressional delegation to Asia, led by @SpeakerPelosi, will be postponed to a later date.”

As we reported yesterday, U.S. House Rep Adam Schiff (D-CA) became the latest top Dem to announce that they have tested positive for COVID-19.

Schiff declared in a tweet on Tuesday, “This evening, I unfortunately tested positive for COVID-19.”

“I’m feeling fine, and grateful to be vaccinated and boosted. In the coming days, I will quarantine and follow CDC guidelines,” Schiff explained.

Like others who have also tested positive as one of the many “breakthrough” cases, Schiff lectured, “And remember, please get vaccinated!”

On Tuesday as well, former President Barack Obama was at the White House along with Kamala Harris and Biden as they promoted the Affordable Care Act.
