Pro-choice activists have descended on various churches to protest following the leaked SCOTUS draft brief where it appears they plan to overturn Roe vs. Wade.
U.S. House Rep Paul Gosar (R-AZ) shared a video from a NYC “independent journalist” in a tweet which showed a group of America First Trump supporters praying in front of a church as activists protested out front.
Gosar praised them in the tweet: “The men holding rosaries, Bibles, and wearing America First hats bravely defending their churches against the abortionist horde are heroes, every single one of them. Heroes.”
U.S. House Rep Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) quote tweeted Gosar and echoed his praise: “God bless them. They are Heroes.”

Another video from the protest, which took place yesterday, showed a performer repeatedly remove dolls from her swimsuit in mock abortions outside the church.
The performer, who goes by the name Crackhead Barney, also shouted, “I’m killing my babies,” and “God killed his kid, why can’t I kill mine?”

It was also reported yesterday that the NYPD planned to beef up patrols at Catholic churches citywide this weekend amid the planned protests.
Officers had been reportedly instructed to do at least two drive-by patrols per tour between midnight Friday and midnight Sunday to potentially combat violent pro-choice protests or other chaotic incidents.
The NYPD memo stated, “Due to recent events surrounding the US Supreme Court document leak pertaining to Roe v. Wade, cops must have a heightened awareness while on patrol.”
“Special attention must be paid in the vicinity of the Catholic church especially during Sunday morning Mass,” the memo explained.
