Pelosi Demands Law Enforcement Investigation Into Gosar Over Anime Video Trolling Her and Other Democrats That Violated Twitter’s ‘Hateful Conduct’ Rules

As we reported earlier, Democrats are seething after U.S. House Rep Paul Gosar (R-AZ) posted an anime video trolling U.S. House Rep Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), President Joe Biden, and others.

Pelosi tweeted out this morning demanding a law enforcement investigation into the video, calling it a “threat of violence.”

“Threats of violence against Members of Congress and the President of the United States must not be tolerated,” Pelosi said in the tweet, linking to a Washington Post article about the video.

Pelosi added, “@GOPLeader should join in condemning this horrific video and call on the Ethics Committee and law enforcement to investigate.”

As we reported earlier, many left-leaning news outlets reported that Gosar tweeted a video where he is edited “killing” AOC.

Gosar and his followers appear to think that the video edit was lighthearted and not meant to incite violence, but AOC and many others have taken it that way anyway.

U.S. House Rep Jackie Speier, also a California Democrat, also shared the Washington Post article and said, “Rep Gosar⁩ should be stripped of his committees and be censured. He is unfit to serve in public office.”

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) later weighed in with a quote tweet of the Washington Post (surprise!) and said, “What a disgusting video from a pathetic man.”

In October of 2020, however, members of “The Squad” including Ocasio-Cortez were upset when Twitter issued a tweet after there was an onslaught of accounts wishing death on President Trump after he was tested positive for the Coronavirus.
