Pennslyvania AG Gloats: ‘Our Nation’s Highest Court Saw Through This Seditious Abuse of Our Electoral Process’

We just reported that The United States Supreme Court has denied the Texas lawsuit that attempted to overturn the presidential election in four key swing states.

Conservative Justices Samuel Alito and Clarence Thomas were the only dissenting opinions as all three Trump-appointed Justices refused the case.

Pennslyvania Democratic AG Josh Shapiro, who called Texas Sen. Ted Cruz a “sad sack” for continuing his support of the president, gloated about the decision.

“Our nation’s highest court saw through this seditious abuse of our electoral process,” Shapiro said while sharing the news.

Shapiro then issued a warning and believes, “This swift denial should make anyone contemplating further attacks on our election think twice.”

Shapiro had issued a series of tweets earlier where he shared part of the brief he had written expressing his legal opinion about the case.

“Let us be clear, Texas invites this court to overthrow the votes of the American people and choose the next president of the United States. That Faustian invitation must be firmly rejected,” Shapiro said.

Shapiro claimed, “Texas has not suffered harm simply because it dislikes the result of the election, and nothing in the text, history, or structure of the Constitution supports Texas’s view that it can dictate the manner in which four other states run their elections.”

“Texas brings to the court only discredited allegations and conspiracy theories. Texas asks this court to contort its original jurisdiction jurisprudence in an election where millions cast ballots under extraordinary circumstances, sometimes risking their health & safety to do so,” Shapiro added.
