Pete Buttigieg’s Husband Appears to Condone Protest of Justice Kavanaugh At DC Steakhouse With Snide Remark

In a curious move, considering his husband is an official in the Biden White House and therefore could be subject to a similar protest, Pete Buttigieg’s husband, Chasten Buttigieg was one of many who appeared to condone a protest of Justice Brett Kavanaugh at a Washington D.C. Steakhouse.

In a quote tweet of a POLITICO reporter who was covering what transpired, Chasten offered a snide remark.

POLITICO reporter Daniel Lippman reported in the original tweet, “NEW: Justice Brett Kavanaugh had to exit through the rear of Morton’s on Wednesday night after DC protestors showed up out front.”

“A Morton’s rep told me: ‘Politics … should not trample the freedom at play of the right to congregate and eat dinner,'” Lippman added.

Chasten apparently felt differently as he quipped in the quote tweet, “Sounds like he just wanted some privacy to make his own dining decisions.”

Right-wing Twitter users let Chasten know how they felt about him making a mockery of what occurred and replied to his tweet to vent their opinions.

Former Trump administration official Stephen Miller told Chasten, “Justice Kavanaugh was the recent target of an assassination attempt. “

“Sanctioning the use of mob intimidation tactics against our Justices is wildly irresponsible,” Miller insisted.

Columnist Tim Young shot back, “So, these are the rules you want for you and Pete… good to know.”

Former Trump senior counsel and advisor Jenna Ellis responded, “When he’s killing children under the auspices of ‘menu options’ then you might be able to draw a parallel.”

Yesterday, we reported on other leftists who mocked the situation, which could be compared to what happened to former Trump press secretary Sarah Sanders at the Red Hen in Lexington, VA, although that restaurant didn’t offer her any support.
