Presidential Candidate Nikki Haley Blathers About How Joe Biden Didn’t Give Ukraine Money ‘Fast Enough’ in New Interview

CBN reporter David Brody recently interviewed presidential candidate Nikki Haley. There are multiple clips of the interview on his Twitter feed and even some posted by Haley herself.

Some of those clips can be seen in this story below, where Brody asks the former South Carolina governor about something he notes many on the “populist” right and even others on the right have been highly concerned about, which is the potential for too much spending in regards to the tragic situation of war between Russia and the Ukraine.

Seemingly out of touch, Haley suggested nearly the opposite, saying that Joe Biden, in essence, wasn’t fast enough to dole out U.S. taxpayer dough.

The particular clip starts out with Haley appearing to toe the party line as many may see it:

“Whether it’s Ukraine or Israel, we take care of them because it’s about freedom”.

Brody challenges Haley to a degree, saying “there is that populist strain and a lot of MAGA, that wants the Ukraine gravy train to stop…”

“Biden was slow to the take. He should have given Ukraine what they needed right when this started…” Haley starts, shrugging off the concerns of MAGA Republicans according to Brody.

Haley goes on with her “freedom” spiel, never mentioning the taxpayer wallets, “this isn’t a war about Ukraine, this is about freedom”.

“NEW: @NikkiHaley explains why supporting Ukraine is putting America First. “I don’t think we need to put troops on the ground. I don’t think we need to write them blank checks but they have the passion to fight for their own freedom. Give them the ammunition to do it.”

Brody summarizes:

“Nikki Haley will not be able to convince hardcore Evangelical Trump supporters to switch over to her. That ship has sailed. Her best shot is to play to the traditional Evangelical contingent who are tired with the Trump daily drama. It’s more sizable than you think.”

Other notables:

In our view:

To us it seems Haley doesn’t have much of a chance of winning the GOP nominee against former President Donald Trump, or any other nomination contest in the future. Haley is out of touch with Americans’ needs, the national debt, and the nation’s weariness of foreign wars.

We believe many in both parties would not be swayed by her played out message, no matter how much she tries to persuade others she’ll get young and female votes somehow.
