Rep Doug Collins ‘Seriously’ Considering a Run Against Radical Leftist Senator Raphael Warnock

Last night on Hannity, former Representative Doug Collins (R-GA) reiterated that he was “seriously” considering running against Senator Raphael Warnock (D-GA). Warnock was elected to the seat in January, the seat will be up for election again in 2022.

“On Hannity tonight, @CollinsforGA said (again) that he was “seriously” considering a run for US Senate against Warnock next year. Not a word about a potential challenge to @GovKemp, though. #gapol

Collins lost to former Senator Kelly Loeffler (R-GA), when he primaried her in 2020. He is currently working for a law firm and started his own radio show on The John Fredricks Radio Network. Collins has been a stalwart supporter of former President Trump. When Trump was in Georgia to campaign for Loeffler and Perdue’s reelections he mentioned that Collins should run for governor of Georgia.

As we previously reported, “President Trump held a rally tonight in Valdosta, Georgia to talk about what he believes to be election fraud that happened in the 2020 presidential election and to stump for the US Senate runoff in Georgia.

Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue are trying to fend off radical leftists Raphael Warnock and John Ossoff from getting into the Senate and knocking off the GOP majority. This would be a major blow especially if Biden is sworn in as president in January.

President Trump was nice to Loeffler and Perdue but took multiple potshots at Georgia Governor Brian Kemp for not doing more in his view to correct potential voter fraud. At one point during the rally, President Donald Trump brought up popular Georgia US House Rep Doug Collins, (R) asking him if he’d want to run for Governor.

He said he’d (Collins) make a good looking Governor which was clearly a 1-2 knockout punch aimed at Brian Kemp. WATCH:

Georgia’s gubernatorial race is also slated for 2022 and many Georgia Republicans want to see some one other than Brian Kemp run for the spot. Collins has also said earlier in the year that he is considering a run against Kemp as well.

As 2022 draws closer we will see what Collins decides to do if he ends up running at all.
