Rep Jayapal is Concerned that she May Starve in a Messy Home Without Illegal Immigration

U.S. House Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-WA) doesn’t seem to know what she would do if it weren’t for the work of illegal immigrants in the United States.

She doesn’t seem to think anyone in the United States besides illegal immigrants, “pick the food we eat,” “clean our homes,” and “rebuild our communities after climate disasters.”

Twitter user @lonestarherd shared a clip from Jayapal’s commentary along with:

“WOW! Just wow! Democrat Jayapal defending mass illegal immigration of Biden admin: “Who will clean our homes?”

Her comments came during the House Judiciary Committee’s markup of the “Border Security and Enforcement Act of 2023.”

Jayapal was trying to make a point for a path to citizenship for all the illegal immigrants currently residing in America. “Trump’s policies, combined with his anti-immigrant rhetoric, made us less safe, less competitive in attracting the best and the brightest, and undermined our most basic human values of compassion and kindness,” she started

“So let’s all take a minute to recognize the hypocrisy of every anti-immigrant debate,” she ramped up. “This country needs immigrants to survive.”

“Immigrants pick the food we eat, rebuild our communities after climate disasters, help construct our infrastructure, power our small business economy, clean our homes, and look after the most precious in our families — our children and our elders. They strengthen our economy, our food supply chain, and our ability to compete.”

Jayapal’s remarks have garnered much backlash on social media.

Yesterday Jayapal as well as many other Democrat House members introduced legislation called, “The Fairness to Freedom Act of 2023”. The legislation would establish the right to legal representation at the expense of the American taxpayer for anyone facing removal from the United States who isn’t able to afford it. This is an effort to help those facing deportation stay in the United States, and also secure release from detention centers and free to roam the interior of America.

The summary of the bill explains, “Representation makes a difference – studies have shown that immigrants with representation are up to 10 times more likely to obtain relief from deportation than those without, and that detained immigrants with representation are 3.5 times more likely to be granted bond, enabling their release from detention.”

Democrats seem eager to get illegal immigrants citizenship. Some speculate this is because they see them as their possible future voters.

With the services, Jayapal believes they contribute and the possibility of more Democrat voters it is not a surprise she is pushing for their citizenship.
