Report: Trump Grand Jury Proceedings for Wednesday ’Canceled’, Leo Terrell Calls on DA to ‘Drop the Case’

A Fox News source shared that the grand jury meeting for Wednesday in the Donald Trump case has been “canceled” by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s office.

Leo Terrell shared the news on Twitter and called on Bragg to “Drop the case.”

“Drop the case Alvin Bragg!”

The grand jury was expected to meet Wednesday to hear from one more witness, but a source told Fox News that the proceedings were canceled by Bragg’s office.

Now the grand jury is “on standby” for Thursday.

Fox News sources shared that the cancelation came as there is “major dissension” within the D.A.’s office. One of the sources claimed the D.A. is having trouble persuading the grand jury on charges due to the “weakness” of the case.

A source shared that there is a real chance Bragg may not indict the current GOP front-runner for 2024, former President Donald Trump. Trump has yet to be formally notified as to whether Bragg plans to bring charges against him.

Bragg had previously suspended the investigation when he took over as district attorney, leading some who were leading the investigation to quit, including prosecutors Mark Pomerantz and Cary Duanne.

Federal prosecutors had previously decided not to charge Trump in relation to the payments made to Stormy Daniels, and the Federal Election Commission tossed the investigation in 2021.

It appears Bragg may be reconsidering charging the former president.
