Governor Ron DeSantis is crying foul against Biden’s new vaccine passport plan. In a new video, he is all but vowing to take all actions he can as Florida’s Governor to protect the state’s residents from having to be subject to any kind of “passport”. Something like that could potentially limit people from traveling, going to concerts, businesses, and more under Biden and Harris’s plan.
While the details are still vague, many Americans are groaning over the potential losses of freedom. Some people have even been told they can’t get the vaccine because of other medical conditions. Others have said this could be a HIPPA violation. In a new video clip you can see DeSantis talking about how many seniors have already been vaccinated, and many more will be soon.
The elderly and those with co-morbidities are at the highest risk of Covid-19. Earlier today President Biden also demanded that states reinstate mask mandates if they have let them expire. Some states never had mask mandates in the first place. Some rural areas may not even need them in our view, but that is our opinion. In the below clip, DeSantis states in part:
“You want the fox to guard the henhouse? I mean give me a break. I think this is something that has huge privacy implications, it is not necessary to do. We’re going to have hit 3.5 million seniors that have gotten shots sometime this week, likely 75% of seniors. It’s important to be able to do it, but at the same time, we are not going to have you provide proof of this just to be able to live your life normally. I’m going to be taking some action in an executive function, an emergency function, here very shortly…”

Many have speculated that DeSantis may run for president or Vice President if Trump runs again in 2024. If he is going to suceed, rhetoric like this will certainly help him with his base, which is fed up with Biden telling people how to live their lives a year after the pandemic hit.
