Ron DeSantis Pushes Back on Liberal Texas Sheriff Who Opened Investigation into Martha’s Vineyard Illegal Immigrants

Monday a smiling Ron DeSantis was introduced on Hannity to respond to the investigation initiated by a liberal sheriff from Texas into the illegal immigrants that were flown to Martha’s Vineyard.

DeSantis points out that millions of people have been crossing the southern border illegally while the mainstream media news has ignored it, even while many have died in the Rio Grand and then very notably a semi-truck trailer full of illegal immigrants trucked across the border died because of the heat. Illegal immigrants have victimized Americans raping and killing some with no outrage from the media. Fentanyl has been flooding across our open border, that didn’t get their attention either.

“It’s only when 50 get put into Martha’s Vineyard, which wasn’t paying they didn’t want this, they said they wanted this. They said they were a sanctuary jurisdiction.”

DeSantis continued, “There were people who were basically destitute, and then put in a situation where they could have succeeded but that was all virtue signaling. And not only did they not welcome them they deported them the next day with the National Guard, Give me a break.”

Hannity then points out that the illegal immigrants went voluntarily and were put up in hotels, fed, showered, and offered other services on their way to Martha’s Vineyard.

DeSantis reiterates they all signed consent forms and were given information about services on Martha’s Vineyard and well as numbers for agencies in Massachusetts they could contact for help. All the rest that is coming from the media is “nonsense” and “just not true”. “They could have absorbed those people” they chose not to.

After news of the new investigation being initiated was posted on Twitter, Ron DeSantis’ communication director Taryn Fenske quickly responded to the news with:

With illegal immigrants being bused to sanctuary areas Democrats are having a hard time virtue signaling when the problem is at their doorsteps. Even Mayor of Chicago Lori Lightfoot moved some illegal immigrants to a suburb of Chicago after pledging to take care of those who Gregg Abbott sent to her city.

With the problem in the face of Democrats, it seems that the Biden Administration may be changing their approach to the border.
