Ron DeSantis Responds After Biden ‘Governor Who?’ Jab: ‘The Question Is, What Else Has He Forgotten?’

President Joe Biden had a laugh at Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis’ expense today when he was asked about the Florida governor’s comments on him yesterday in regards to the border crisis and COVID-19.

After the reporter explained what happened, Biden snidely asked, “Governor who?” and then had a chuckle, apparently pleased with his wit.

Not long thereafter, DeSantis was asked about Biden’s jab and he responded with a comeback of his own, claiming not to be surprised and wondering, “I guess the question is, what else has he forgotten?”

DeSantis then listed off a number of hot button issues that he believes Biden had forgotten about:

“Biden has forgotten about the crisis at our southern border, I can tell you that.”

“Biden has forgotten about the inflation that is biting the budget of families all throughout the country.”

“Biden has forgotten about the demonstrators who are fighting for freedoms down in Cuba.”

“Biden has even forgotten about the Constitution itself as we saw with what he’s done with the moratorium.”

DeSantis then explained who he is as Governor for Biden so that he could recall next time if a similar question is posed to him.

“I’m the governor who protects parents and their ability to make the right choices for their kids education.”

“I’m the governor who protects jobs and education and businesses in Florida by not letting the federal government lock us down.”

“I’m the governor who answers to the people of Florida, not the bureaucrats in Washington.”

U.S. House Rep Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) applauded DeSantis’ response in a tweet where she said, “.@GovRonDeSantis is doing an incredible job leading Florida and Biden is failing our entire country.”
