Rudy Giuliani Decries the ‘Fake News Media’ For ‘Acting Like… the Enemy of the People’

We reported yesterday about Jim Jordan’s reaction to the recent news that surfaced about redacted documents ahead of the 2016 election which led to the Russiagate probe and other news outlets like Fox News and the New York Post did as well, but much of the news media did their best to ignore it.

Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani decried the lack of press for the revelations today in a tweet that read, “When the FNM [Fake News Media] covers up documentation of serious charges against Democrats like Biden or Hillary, they are acting like, as President Trump says, the enemy of the people.”

Giuliani then asked, rhetorically, “Are they giving you the facts you need to know for our democracy to work? Or are they completely biased?”

As we noted in the article yesterday, CNN was one of the outlets that did cover it and they did so by interviewing one person at the heart of the documents, former CIA Director John Brennan, who categorically denied that he did anything wrong.

Today, the Washington Post has covered the news, by running an opinion piece titled, “The right-wing media has a new fake Hillary Clinton scandal.”

Brennan today tweeted out a message from former CIA Director under George W. Bush, Michael Hayden, where he endorses the Democratic Presidential nominee Joe Biden.

“Michael Hayden is an American patriot who has dedicated his life to the safety of his fellow citizens and the security of our country. His voice is stronger, clearer, and more timely than ever before. Thank you, Mike, for this powerful statement,” Brennan said.

This continues a pattern on his Twitter feed of an obsession against the current president, which, of course, the “fake news media” never asks about. Many, however, were quick to report on Hayden’s endorsement of Biden.

Clinton did tweet about the report yesterday, only to direct people to a book published by CNN’s Michael D’Antonio called “The Hunting of Hillary.” She said, “About that vast, right-wing conspiracy…” and claimed that D’Antonio “found the receipts.”
