Santorum to CNN: Trump ‘Was Ahead of the Curve on Shutting Down Travel From China, Didn’t Get Credit’

Rick Santorum appeared on CNN today and spoke to John King. He told King that there is “Monday morning quarterbacking” and that President Trump “was ahead of the curve on shutting down travel from China, didn’t get credit for that.”

Daily Beast editor Justin Baragona complained about the segment saying that they brought him on “for some reason.” It is clear that the interests of fairness are not on the table for him.

CNN, for some reason, brings on Rick Santorum to applaud Trump’s coronavirus response, saying he was “ahead of the curve” and “gets some high marks” on what he did early on. John King, meanwhile, tells Santorum “I really appreciate your insight” at end of segment.

Santorum tweeted recently that Democrats are scrambling to make up the YouTube deficit, and shared an article from Politico. The article describes how conservatives are winning the battle on YouTube.

While Democratic campaigns and groups spend heavily on advertising on YouTube, they lag in organic content, with dozens of conservative and right-wing figures like Ben Shapiro, Mark Dice, Paul Joseph Watson, and channels like Prager University cultivating enormous followings not yet matched by equivalents on the left.
