Sarah Palin Recommends Ron DeSantis Sit this One Out and ‘Stay Governor’ for Now

Former Republican Governor of Alaska Sarah Palin sat down with NewsMax’s Eric Bolling on Tuesday. While he had her on he asked her thoughts on Donald Trump and Ron DeSantis. Former President Trump has already announced his run for president and speculation abounds that DeSantis may throw his hat in the ring.

Palin’s advice to DeSantis was simple, “Stay Governor” for now.

“I’m all about healthy competitive primaries,” Palin answer Bowling when he asked what her thoughts are on 2024. “It makes people work harder,” she added.

She believes anyone who decides to run in the primary against Trump “gotta lot of guts… because Trump, he proved before, he’s gonna prove again. He’s got the wherewithal, He’s got the vision, He’s got the record now with good policy…”

“He’s got the guts, he’s got the attitude ‘I’ve got nothin’ else to lose man what more can they do, I’m gonna fight for what right cause what else can they do to me'”. Palin sounded like she is on the Trump train.

Bolling asked if she thinks DeSantis will “jump in”.

“DeSantis doesn’t need to,” Palin started. “I envision him as our president, someday, but not right now.” She went on to compliment him on the job he is doing in Florida, “setting the tone for every other governor in the nation”

“I think he’s our best governor, and I think he should stay governor for a bit longer,” Pailin shared. “He has decades ahead of him where he can be our president.”

Palin then shares she believes Trump will be the nominee and needs to choose someone like him who “has nothing to lose” so they can “focus on what’s right for the people, actually governing”.

Palin has put it out there that she believes Trump will be the nominee, and she thinks DeSantis needs to just sit this one out.
