Sean Hannity Shamelessly Grills Courageous Lauren Boebert as he Continues Trying to Convince People to Roll with McCarthy for Speaker

On Wednesday evening’s episode of “Hannity” on Fox News, U.S. House Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) came on to discuss the speaker of the house vote. Hannity didn’t appear to be too thrilled with what Boebert and 19 other Republican U.S. House members are doing in voting against Kevin McCarthy.

Hannity asks Boebert about her comments made on the floor Wednesday. She complimented former President Trump but suggested he needs to tell McCarthy he doesn’t have the votes and needs to move on.

Hannity redirects and brings up the fact that McCarthy “has 203 votes” and that those going against McCarthy are only 20, so don’t they need to “pack it in?”

Boebert starts to talk saying “I understand the frustration”. Hannity interrupts her while shaking his hand and tells her she didn’t answer his question and announces “I’m not frustrated”. Hannity shakes his head and says, “You’re not answering my question.”

“I’m frustrated about you not answering a direct question,” announces Hannity. He then goes back to what Boebert said on the House floor. She interjects agreeing with what she said on the floor.

Hannity then asks, “McCarthy has 203 votes. Your side has 20. Why is it time for him to withdraw and not you when he has so many more votes?”

Boebert responds, “Well Sean, He needs 218 and he does not have 218.” She shares that they have been trying to work this out for months and places blame at the feet of McCarthy who she says didn’t want to listen to them until the disappointing midterms.

The clip ends shortly after that, but it shows that Hannity wasn’t done with questions for Boebert.

The vote for speaker will be entering its third day and the house has voted 6 times already. The numbers haven’t moved in McCarthy’s favor. He has lost the vote of U.S. House Rep. Byron Donalds (R-FL) as well as Victoria Spartz (R-IN) who voted “present”.

Spartz wants the votes to stop and discussions to take place, she voted present instead of for McCarthy in the last few votes.

It doesn’t seem that there is a way forward for McCarthy, but he has already moved into the speaker’s office and seems to be digging his heels in for now.
