SNL Shamefully Mocks Donald Trump’s Visit to Suffering Ohioans, Despite no Visit by Joe Biden

Former President Donald Trump visited East Palestine, OH last week, after a train derailment that resulted in vinyl chloride being released from a train car in order to prevent an explosion. Trump brought bottled water which was handed out to the community, even though raging liberals claimed it wasn’t enough water for someone so rich.

SNL took the opportunity to mock the former and possible future president’s visit. James Austin Johnson portrayed Trump in the skit, wearing a Make America Great Again hat as well as a similar outfit to what Trump wore on his trip to East Palestine. SNL seems to be grasping for material with this latest skit.

The skit opened with Johnson standing at a podium in what is supposed to be an East Palestine firehouse. “It is wonderful to be here in East Palestine, not a great name,” Johnson said as he mocked Trump. “I had to come here and see these wonderful people who have been abandoned by Biden. He’s on spring break in Ukraine with his friend Zelensky.”

“I’m here and I brought hats, cameras and hats,” Johnson continued. “Earlier today, a farmer came up to me, big fella, and he said, ‘Sir, we have nothing to eat because our dirt is poison.’ And I said, ‘Well what are you doing eating the dirt? Don’t eat the dirt folks.’ You should be eating the cold McDonald’s I brought you. And the bottled water I brought you, ‘Trump Ice’. I’ll be honest I just put my sticker on some Dasani.”

On his visit to East Palestine, Trump bought first responders and residents of East Palestine McDonald’s. He also brought water to distribute to East Palestine.

The fake Trump then started down a rabbit hole first talking about “beautiful water” jumping to “Fenty” makeup (Riahnna’s brand) and her performance at the Super Bowl. “But your train exploded and who do we blame? We blame Buttigieg. This was his responsibility. Unfortunately, he was too busy being a nerd and being gay,” fake Trump declared.

Buttigieg was quiet on the train derailment for a couple of weeks, and when he finally did start to talk about it he placed the blame on former President Trump.

The skit then added in a fake Emily Kohrs, who made the news doing interviews this past week. Kohrs the foreperson on the grand jury in Georgia was investigating Trump. The fake Kohrs was asked by the fake Trump if he was going to be indicted. She responded, “Nope, you just want me to ruin the case. But I guess I can say we’ve been saying your name a lot.”
