‘So This Happened…’ Kayleigh McEnany Reacts to Kamala Harris’ ‘Layman’s Terms’ Breakdown of the Russian Invasion of Ukraine

A clip of Kamala Harris recently breaking down the Russian invasion of Ukraine in “Layman’s terms” was tweeted by RNC Research.

In the clip, Harris appears to go a bit far with the breakdown, as though she is speaking to an audience of kindergarteners perhaps, as many who responded pointed it.

Harris, however, was being interviewed on a program called “The Morning Hustle,” which is a nationwide morning show that plays on various hip-hop and R&B stations.

Fox News’ Kayleigh McEnany appeared to react with shock as she shared the clip in a tweet and said, “So this happened…”

In the clip, a co-host asked Harris to break down what’s going on in the Ukraine “in layman’s terms for those who don’t know what’s going on and how can this directly affect the people of the United States.”

“Ukraine is a country in Europe. It exists next to another country called Russia. Russia is a bigger country. Russia is a powerful country,” Harris explained.

Harris then basically repeats what she said as she described, “Russia decided to invade a smaller country called Ukraine. So, basically, that’s wrong.”

In the full clip, Harris continued, “It goes against everything we stand for, there are terms that we use, we say, we respect the sovereignty, the territorial integrity of countries, right?”

Harris then explained how sanctions work and it certainly appeared that the hosts were appreciative of her explanation.
