It was reported today that the star of “Full House” and comedy legend Bob Sagat has passed away unexpectedly at just 65-years-old.
TMZ first reported that multiple sources connected Sagat, who was most famous for his starring role as Danny Tanner in “Full House,” told them that he passed away at the Ritz-Carlton in Orlando.
After hotel security had found Sagatin his room, the Sheriff’s Department and the fire department responded to the hotel around 4 PM ET.
Sagat was apparently pronounced dead on the scene, but the circumstances of his death are still unclear.
Prior to his death, Sagat was in the middle of a comedy tour of the country, hitting a lot of destinations throughout the state of Florida, including in Orlando.
The tour began in September and was supposed to take Sagat through May.
Last night, Sagat was in Jacksonville doing a show at the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall and he tweeted a shout out about the crowd early this morning.
“Loved tonight’s show @PV_ConcertHall in Jacksonville. Appreciative audience. Thanks again to @RealTimWilkins for opening,” Sagat said in the tweet.
Sagat added, “I had no idea I did a 2 hr set tonight. I’m happily addicted again to this shit. Check http://BobSaget.com for my dates in 2022.”
