Stefanik Skewers Schiff and AOC’s Fundraising Numbers Last Quarter after Rockstar Defense of Trump

Rep Elise Stefanik (R-NY) has made her way from being a lesser-known, moderate female Republican, albeit up and coming, to a rock star supporter of President Trump’s, and the left isn’t thrilled about it. House Intelligence Committee Chairman and Rep Adam Schiff (D-CA) on the other hand has been sobbing with theatrical dramatics over in the Senate trial, practically begging Republican Senators to vote against their own best interests to remove President Donald Trump. Meanwhile, Stefanik’s most recent quarter’s fundraising numbers just flew by that of Schiff’s AND Dem Rep Alexandria Ocasio Cortez’s, also from New York.

The New York Post reports that Elise Stefanik raised a whopping $3.2 million dollars in campaign contributions over the last quarter of 2019. Keep in mind this is for a U.S. House seat, not a Senate seat, so this is a huge chunk of change. The Democrats top theatrical superstar, Adam Schiff, only raised $2.5 million, while still a lot, not enough to exceed that of Stefanik’s, even from his rich Hollywood, California donor base.

Additionally, the world-famous AOC, who was dubbed the leader of “The Squad” or AOC + 3 by President Trump, raised even less than that, clocking in at $1.9 million, also according to the New York Post.

The Washington Examiner reported on the scoop in part:

Trump himself has praised Stefanik, who has routinely called Schiff a “liar” and rejected claims against Trump made by Democrats and his critics in the media.

The president is expected to be acquitted of charges of abuse of power and obstruction of Congress in a vote scheduled for Wednesday.

“Adam Schiff’s impeachment sham is OVER,” Stefanik celebrated in a recent tweet. “It was partisan, unconstitutional, unfair, and flawed from the very start.”
