It was reported earlier today that federal authorities raided the Manhattan apartment of Rudy Giuliani, who is a former Mayor of NYC and former President Donald Trump’s personal lawyer, amid a continuing investigation into his dealings in Ukraine.
At a press conference, the former mayor’s son, Andrew Giuliani, a former Trump aide, called the Justice Department’s actions “extremely disturbing.”
Andrew also referenced Hunter Biden, Joe Biden’s son, and the fact that his laptop, which is in Giuliani’s possession, wasn’t taken in the raid.
Author, comedian, and Trump supporter Terrence K. Williams referenced Hunter in a Facebook live video post that he made and stated in the post, “Rudy Giuliani was raided by the FBI! I believe this is a Political attack!”
Williams then asked, “Why don’t they raid Hunter Biden?”
In the video, Williams said that he believes “Trump supporters are under attack” and asked why they would raid his apartment.
“He fought for Trump when no other lawyers would fight for him,” Williams explained and added, “They are coming for everyone who supported Trump.”
Williams also said that he believes it is tied into Trump’s presidential aspirations for 2024.
In a tweet, Williams echoed what he said in the video and said, “I stand with #RudyGiuliani He did nothing wrong! They are coming for him because he fought for President Trump!”
Williams speculated, “I find it weird how Rudy was attacked on the same day Joe Biden is set to address congress for the first time!”
