Taylor underwent “unbearable” post-COVID-19 symptoms causing him to then take his life last week. The family released a statement to the hill. They said, “Kent battled and fought hard like the former track champion that he was, but the suffering that greatly intensified in recent days became unbearable”.
They later gave praise to the later Kent Taylor saying, “But in true Kent fashion, he always found a silver lining to help others. Most recently, he committed to fund a clinical study to help members of the military who also suffer with tinnitus”.
The restaurant chain’s Facebook page posted sending its regards, “We will miss you, Kent. Because of you and your dream of Texas Roadhouse, we get to say we [love] our jobs every day”.
Taylor will certainly be missed as he has had a lasting impact on this country with over 500 restaurants in all but one U.S. state. He will not only leave behind his restaurant chain but also his beloved friends and family who have known him throughout the years.
Taylor joins the growing amount of people who have tragically taken their own life because of the effects of COVID-19 and undergoing both physical and emotional pain.
While his employees were struggling Taylor gave up some of his salary in order to pay them which amounted to hundreds of thousands of dollars.
We here at Media Right News send our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Kent Taylor.
