The former first lady and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton engaged in a conversation with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) for her podcast “You and Me Both” yesterday and she released an excerpt of it in a tweet where they speculate unsubstantiated claims that Vladimir Putin was involved in the Jan. 6 siege on the Capitol in conjunction with President Trump.
Byron York with the Washington Examiner quoted Clinton from the podcast as suggesting, “I would love to see [Trump’s] phone records to see whether he was talking to Putin the day that the insurgents invaded our Capitol.”
“Putin wants to undermine democracy” of America and with Mr. Trump “all roads lead to Putin,” Pelosi responded and added that she believes the Capitol riots were a “gift to Putin” and the people who stormed the building were “Putin puppets.”
Pelosi said, “These people, unbeknownst to them, they are Putin puppets. They were doing Putin’s business when they [stormed the Capitol], at the incitement of an insurrection by the president of the United States. So yes, we should have a 9/11 commission, and there is strong support in the Congress to do that.”
York said of the exchange in the quote tweet where he quoted her from the podcast, “It appears the Russia obsession will live forever.”
In her tweet, Clinton said that she agrees with Pelosi, that “Congress needs to establish an investigative body like the 9/11 Commission to determine Trump’s ties to Putin so we can repair the damage to our national security and prevent a puppet from occupying the presidency ever again.”

Ranking member of the House Judiciary Committee Jim Jordan (R-OH) quote tweeted York and slammed Clinton and Pelosi, “The Russia hoax will never stop.”
In a response to Jordan, conservative activist Steve Ferguson pointed out that he believes, “Yet we get doxxed for questioning the fraud committed in the 2020 election.”
