In a tweet yesterday, U.S. House Rep Thomas Massie (R-KY) hilariously tied together two recent Biden administration scandals.
Massie suggested that Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg is flying private because he’s afraid now former Nuclear Waste official Sam Brinton will snatch his luggage.

A report from the New York Post said that Buttigieg has flown 18 times on taxpayer-funded private jets since taking office early last year.
In September 2017, then-Health and Human Services Secretary Tom Price resigned from his position under then-President Donald Trump for flying on private jets 26 times.
APT executive director Caitlin Sutherland noted in a statement that “Every day Americans face flight cancellations and long wait times because Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg has completely mismanaged air travel.”
“Yet, he gets to avoid all that by taking taxpayer-funded private jets to destinations with readily available commercial airline options,” Sutherland lamented.
While the Democrats criticized Price for being hypocritical because he was known as a budget hawk, Sutherland pointed out that “For someone so holier-than-thou on reducing emissions, Buttigieg sure doesn’t seem to mind the pollution caused by his literal jet-setting.”
“This is hypocrisy at its finest, and these troubling expenses to taxpayers must come under immediate scrutiny,” Sutherland explained.
As we recently reported, Brinton, who is non-binary, has been relieved of his duties after being accused of a pair of luggage thefts.
