It was announced today that “Toy Story 5” was in the works by Disney, as well as other movies like “Frozen 3.”
After 2022’s “Lightyear” replaced Allen as Buzz Lightyear and drew some blowback, it is sure to make some happy.
In a tweet, Allen shared a picture of the cartoon Buzz Lightyear and said, “See ya soon Woody, you are a sad strange little man and you have my pity.”
“And off we go to a number 5! To infinity and beyond!” Allen declared.

Allen had been voicing Buzz Lightyear since the first film was released in 1995.
It was the first fully computer-animated feature film and went on to be one of the most beloved animated series ever created, as Collider put it.
“Lightyear” opened to a disastrous $51 million, and the Disney film earned just $17.7 million in its second weekend, which was a crash of 65 percent.
Ultimately, the movie did turn a marginal profit, but certainly much less than expected.
