Tim Allen Mocks Woke Culture in a Tweet Asking about Their Safe Space, ’A Cute Yet Safe Playpen’

Legendary comedian Tim Allen today mocked woke culture in a tweet where he asked about their safe space if it was “a cute yet safe playpen?”

Allen made a two-part statement in the tweet which began, “Who is the face of woke.”

“Do wokees have a club house in someone’s backyard or maybe a cute yet safe playpen somewhere?” Allen wondered.

Social media director for the Grace to You Ministries, Darrell B. Harrison, responded to Allen and listed some leftists that he believes are competing to be the “face of wokeness.”

“There isn’t just one face, Tim, but many—(e.g. Ibram X. Kendi, Jemar Tisby, Nikole Hannah-Jones, Robin DiAngelo, just to name a few)—all of whom are competing with each other to be recognized and endorsed by the culture as *the* face of wokeness,” Harrison explained.

Last month, Allen faced backlash from the left after he cracked a joke at the expense of Joe Biden after his “60 Minutes” interview on CBS.

Allen ultimately ended up responding by explaining in a tweet, “I started my 35 year stand up career because of genius’s like the man who said: ‘I never met anybody who said when they were a kid, I wanna grow up to be a critic.’ – Richard Pryor.”

In July, Allen blasted Disney’s new “Lightyear” movie, explaining that it has no connection to ‘Toy Story’ Buzz.

“There’s really no ‘Toy Story’ Buzz without Woody. So I’m not sure what the idea… I’m a plot guy, it would seem to be a big adventure story, and as I see… it’s not a big adventure story. It’s a wonderful story, it just doesn’t seem to have any connection to the toy,” Allen noted.
