Todd Starnes Reportedly Suspended For 12 Hours From Twitter After Eric Swalwell Complains About ‘False’ Anti-Biden Tweet

Todd Starnes has been reportedly suspended for 12 hours from Twitter after U.S. House Rep Eric Swalwell (D-CA) complained about an anti-Biden tweet.

The tweet from Starnes, which has now been removed from the platform for “violating the rules,” was, “Remember when Biden failed to vet any of the Afghan ‘refugees’?”

Starnes then tagged #synagogue and #colleyville, potentially attempting to establish a link between that and the hostage situation that occurred yesterday.

Swalwell took aim at Starnes in a quote tweet where he attempted to minimize Starnes’ prominence and asked, “How can @twitter allow this hate speech?”

“This *verified* guy is falsely blaming Afghans for the #ColleyvilleSynagogue standoff. The suspect WAS NOT Afghan. This false tweet will put targets on my Afghan constituents’ backs,” Swalwell complained.

Starnes later quote tweeted Swalwell and shot back, “Says the guy dating the Chinese spy.”

Prior to that, Starnes clarified that “The Muslim terrorist who took hostages at the Texas synagogue” and was killed by the FBI hostage rescue team, was “44-year-old British national Malik Faisal Akram.”

Starnes then wondered, “1. How long has he been in the U.S.? 2. What was he doing here? 3. Who let him enter the country? 4. Did he have vaccine papers?”

The last tweet from Starnes was now over 6 hours ago and ACT for America’s Brigitte Gabriel recently tweeted, “I am being told that Todd Starnes has been suspended from Twitter for 12 hours because Rep Eric Swalwell reported his account.”

Gabriel declared, “Welcome to 1984!”

Swalwell, meanwhile, tweeted out yesterday, “Yeah this was a rough week for democracy. But you know what? Corrupt AF Donald Trump is no longer president. And never will be again.”

A tweet like that certainly could put a target on Trump supporters’ backs and there is no evidence that the former president was “corrupt AF” beyond the partisan impeachments.

Not only that, but Swalwell really means, in our opinion, that it was a rough week for Democrats as their attempts to circumvent the filibuster to federalize voting failed.
