Time will tell how the left responds, and if the White House is successful in bringing much-needed law and order back to this amazing nation.

“Every four year old should be safe to sleep at night in their bed,” said Chad Wolfe, acting Director of the Department of Homeland Security. Operation LeGend was named after a child who was senselessly killed at the hands of street violence. KSHB reported:

Charron Powell lost her 4 year-old son LeGend Taliferro in June. LeGend was asleep inside a Kansas City, Missouri, apartment when he was shot and killed.

Days after his death, a new initiative called Operation LeGend was announced.

KOB reported:

President Donald Trump and Attorney General William Barr announced Wednesday that federal agents will surge into several American cities including Albuquerque to help combat rising crime. Barr said 35 federal agents will be sent to Albuquerque for Operation Legend.

The program was created as a result of Trump’s promise to assist America’s cities that are plagued by recent violence.

The president mentioned the murder of Jacque Vigil. She was killed while warming up her car in Albuquerque. Vigil’s family attended the announcement. Barr said the federal government will offer a reward to help solve the crime.

The president said the DOJ will provide $61 million in grants to hire more police officers in cities that are part of Operation Legend.

Barr said this operation will not look like it does in Portland, where federal agents have faced off with protesters. He said this will be classic crime-fighting.
