Trump Calls Beto a ‘Poor Bastard’ and Says He ‘Quit Like a Dog’ at KAG Rally

Well, this isn’t exactly breaking the story, and you have probably heard by now that the Democratic presidential candidate who says “hell yes we’re going to take your AR-15s” Robert Francis ‘Beto’ O’Rourke has bowed out of the 2020 presidential race. If you haven’t heard this well, you have now. Last night at President Trump’s Keep America Great rally in Tupelo Mississippi, Trump took a jab at Beto on the heels of this news. Trump was in the state to campaign for the 2020 presidential campaign and MS Republican Gubernatorial candidate Tate Reeves. This ‘Beto bash’ was among other topics he touched on such as “how can you impeach a president who has done nothing wrong?” railing against Congressmen Nancy Pelosi (D) and Adam Schiff (D).

In a video clip that you can see below from last night’s rally, Trump pushed the envelope with the media yet again, almost assuredly causing a controversy firestorm from those in the more left-leaning media outlets. Upon bringing up Beto’s dropping out of the race, Trump goes on a tirade. “Oh did you hear? Beto, Beto, did you hear? Beto”.

He goes on to say “Ah that poor bastard, poor pathetic guy, he was pathetic. Remember the arms are flailing..” He then goes on to mention how O’Rourke lost a U.S. Senate bid to Republican Ted Cruz, who used to be an enemy of Trump’s but has since backed his ‘America First’ agenda. Trump has indeed credited Cruz for this as well, similar to that of the change by U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham (R).

He also mentioned at the rally that “Beto quit like a dog“. It’s likely that someone will point out the correlation between this statement, and Trump’s statement about ISIS leader al Baghdadi when he said he “died like a dog“, although no evidence exists that he was actually making a correlation between the two. This being the case, it’s certainly an interesting use of words.

Trump also tweeted about Mr. O’Rourke’s departure from the presidential field, which is also signaling a lack of support for candidates who want to bring gun confiscation into the national debate. See our other story by former state Trump Campaign manager Jack Morgan talking about Beto’s time pushing his anti-gun agenda in rural southwest Virginia. President Trump is not unknown for ragging on and joking other candidates as they drop out either, and U.S. Senator Kamala Harris (D) and others who may be next likely will face similar roasts if indeed they follow suit. Trump tweeted yesterday:

“Oh no, Beto just dropped out of race for President despite him saying he was “born for this.” I don’t think so!”

Wow, that’s gotta sting. Anyway, check out the tweet below:

This comes right around the time when U.S. Senator and presidential candidate Kamala Harris’ campaign seems to be on life support as well, with many campaign offices closing and staff being fired. The Democratic presidential field is slowly starting to narrow, although the majority has yet to pick a clear front runner as some polls show former Vice President Joe Biden as falling from his front runner position amidst alleged scandals and gaffes.

It’s unlikely that President Trump will relent from his harsh attacks on the left as the DNC struggles for an identity and direction. The Democrat party is in a battle for its soul among radical left-wing socialists and moderates who more and more have to pretend to be like the radicals to stay relevant. You can watch the entire clip from last night’s really in the video posted below.
