Former President Donald Trump released a short statement on Thursday commenting on how Georgia’s Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger (R) said that Fulton County will be investigated after it is reported they were unable to produce all dropbox transfer documents.
“Restoring confidence in our elections is going to be impossible as long as Fulton County’s elections leadership continues to fail the voters of Fulton County and the voters of Georgia. They need new leadership to step up and take charge. New revelations that Fulton County is unable to produce all ballot drop box transfer documents will be investigated thoroughly, as we have with other counties that failed to follow Georgia rules and regulations regarding drop boxes. This cannot continue.”

This comes as in the past Trump and Raffensperger haven’t seen eye to eye on the election fraud allegations in the state of Georgia. Trump pressed on claiming that election fraud occurred in the state and that he won Georgia among other swing states, while Raffesnsperger insisted everything was on the up and up.
Raffensperger has tried to debunk the claims from the former president while Trump has pressed on with these claims. Now, Raffenspergers seems to be flip-flopping as he will investigate further in the ballot drop-box transfer documents not being fully produced in Fulton County.
Some may speculate that Raffensperger won’t thoroughly investigate this as much as he should as he doesn’t want Trump to be right. Some could say it is a little too late as this was needed five months ago, not in June.
