After the charges were dismissed earlier today against Michael Flynn by the Department of Justice, former FBI Director James Comey claimed that the DOJ have “lost its way.”
The Trump Campaign responded by saying that he was “one of the most corrupt FBI directors in our nation’s history.” They added that “Justice is coming.” They then re-shared an ad from December of last year that said, “it’s time to hold the liars and leakers accountable.”
Comey: The DOJ has lost its way. But, career people: please stay because America needs you. The country is hungry for honest, competent leadership.
Trump Campaign: You’re a liar, a leaker, and one of the most corrupt FBI directors in our nation’s history. Justice is coming.

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy called the exoneration of Flynn a “win for the Justice system” and slammed Comey by saying that his “FBI failed one of our own citizens.” He said that “This should have never happened.”
@GenFlynn is ??????????—a win for our justice system and a win for individual rights. No American should ever be targeted for simply belonging to a certain political party. Comey’s FBI failed one of our own citizens. This should have never happened.
