Trump Declares at TX Rally about Canadian Trucker ‘Freedom Convoy’: ‘We Are With Them All the Way!’

Donald Trump is holding a rally in Conroe, Texas, and weighed in about the Canadian trucker “Freedom convoy.”

“The Canadian truckers, you’ve been reading about it, who are resisting bravely these lawless mandates, they are doing more to defend American freedom than our own leaders, by far,” Trump explained.

Trump declared, “And we want those great Canadian truckers to know that we are with them all the way! They are, they’ve really shown something.”

Supporters of Trump have been frustrated with his promotion of the COVID vaccines but this message is sure to reinforce that he is against mandates.

According to the New York Post, a convoy of Canadian truckers and their supporters rolled into the nation’s capital city of Ottawa Saturday to protest Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s COVID-19 vaccine mandates.

The protest against a vaccine requirement began for cross-border truckers but grew into a mass demonstration against the Canadian government over other coronavirus regulations.

This morning, dozens of trucks were lined up in front of the Parliament buildings, blowing their horns while thousands of people gathered peacefully on snow-covered lawns.

According to a federal source, about 2,700 trucks were expected to descend on the city by the end of the day.

The Post Millennial tweeted out footage of the protest and said, “Trucks with the Freedom Convoy stretch for several blocks in Ottawa, with more circling the area, as protestors continue to gather at Parliament Hill.”
