Well if you haven’t heard about the Trump-Ukraine whistleblower scandal yet, you’ve probably been in a coma for the past few days. If you haven’t heard about the release of the transcripts of a phone call between President Trump and Ukranian President Volodymyr Zelensky today, well you probably haven’t had access to the internet or television all day. Regardless, the topic has dominated the headlines all day as nothing has in a long time.
The main takeaway from the transcript release by President Trump is that according to himself and most Republicans, he did nothing wrong asking Zelensky to look into potential improprieties relating to 2020 Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden, his son Hunter, and a Ukranian company Hunter Biden used to work for.
While the Democrats continue to beat the drum on impeachment, bolstered by Nancy Pelosi’s commencement yesterday of a new impeachment inquiry, most Republicans say this vindicates Trump a there was no ‘quid-pro-quo’ in the transcript. It also appears as though, in relation to the rift between ‘Squad’ leader AOC and Nancy Pelosi, the AOC pushes have taken effect and Pelosi instead of fighting for power, has begun to cave.
Now, amidst a fundraiser flurry, the RNC now calls on Joe Biden to be as transparent as President Trump has been as it relates to Ukraine. In a video below RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel appears to troll the former vice president, who has thus far ignored the challenge and continues to bang on the drums of ‘holding Donald Trump accountable’ in a statement he released moments ago. The video tweet was captioned:

It appears as though Biden is going to continue on the offense, as he is likely being instructed to do by his campaign staff, regardless of how it appears as though the tables might just be turning. This all comes in the wake of U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren seems to be catching up to Biden in the 2020 democratic presidential primary polls.
