Monday night, Tucker Carlson started his daily Fox News show with his usual monologue. This time the monologue was focused solely on President Joe Biden his erratic emotions, and also the fact that his administration is constantly playing clean up explaining or walking back the things he says while on the global stage.
Biden’s latest angry encounter with the press was highlighted at the end of the monologue. Carlson then called for Biden to be removed using the 25th amendment.
The clip below started with Carlson saying, “So Biden just said everything that he has said for the last week is true and none of it has been corrected by people who work for him. The truth is Joe Biden has no idea, Joe Biden has no idea what his publicists say when he goes to sleep. Then midway through his answer Joe Biden walks back his comments, he does that just minutes after saying he would never walk back his own comments, ‘none of that occurred’, Biden said.”
“Look it feels almost like we’re being mean to the guy by quoting him and no one wants that, no one is making fun of his age or his diminished condition, only trying to defend the country. Then moments later Biden declared that no reasonable person would think he wants regime change in Russia. Watch this if you can stand it.”
They showed a clip of the president furrowing his brow with his hand raised saying, “This is ridiculous, nobody believes we’re going to take down I was talking about taking down Putin. Nobody believes that.”
Tucker then came to his call for the removal of the president, “Alright, jokes over too much is at stake, if there was ever a time if there was a time in U.S. history to invoke the 25th amendment, it is now.“
All of last week while Joe Biden was in Europe meeting with Nato as well as U.S. soldiers in Poland he made comments that his administration had to scramble to walk back.
After eating pizza with members of the Army’s 82nd Airborne Division Biden told the group, You’re going to see when you’re there, and some of you have been there, you’re gonna see — you’re gonna see women, young people standing in the middle in front of a damned tank just saying, ‘I’m not leaving, I’m holding my ground,’” inferring they would be heading into Ukraine. Quickly the administration corrected the gaffe declaring, “The president has been clear we are not sending US troops to Ukraine and there is no change in that position”.
The other major gaffe that the administration scrambled to correct was made at the end of a speech the president gave in Poland. Biden says off script, “For God’s sake, this man [Puitin] cannot remain in power.” These words many feared could spark WWIII. The administration worked very hard to make it clear that Biden didn’t mean what he said.
While Carlson and many other Americans may want to see the 25th amendment invoked and Biden removed, it doesn’t seem likely that this will happen. The Biden Administration instead appears to be just fine with cleaning up after the president’s gaffes, at least for now as it doesn’t seem like they have caused too much damage at least not WWIII as of yet.
But many right-wingers may feel that this call is actually the right one, while when the Democrats called for it during Donald Trump’s presidency, it wasn’t actually called for at all.
