Tucker Carlson Parts Ways With Fox News, Effective Immediately

In an announcement today, show host Tucker Carlson has parted ways with Fox News, effective immediately.

The move comes as a surprise since Carlson has consistently had the top-rated show, “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” on cable news.

A press release said, “Fox News Media and Tucker Carlson have agreed to part ways. We thank him for his service to the network as a host and prior to that as a contributor.”

“Mr. Carlson’s last program was Friday April 21st. Fox News Tonight will air live at 8PM/ET starting this evening as an interim show helmed by rotating Fox News personalities until a new host is named,” the press release explained.

The move comes as it was also recently announced that Fox News parted ways with Dan Bongino as well, who had the highest-rated cable news program on Saturday nights.

Fox News recently settled a massive defamation lawsuit brought forth by Dominion over reporting on the 2020 election.

Prior to the settlement, it was speculated that some Fox News personalities could be let go, although Jeanine Pirro, Sean Hannity, and Maria Bartiromo were at the top of that list.

Leftists are sure to see Carlson’s departure as a massive victory as U.S. House Rep Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) recently accused him and others at Fox News of inciting violence and called for federal regulation.

It seems possible that other personalities will also be on the way out and we will update you as the information comes available.
