Vice President Kamala Harris was greeted with pro-Trump protests in Guatemala yesterday, much to her disappointment. She also said yesterday that Central Americans should not come to the United States illegally, infuriating more radical leftists such as U.S. House Rep Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. Clearly, the radical left appears to want people to come to the U.S. illegally.
They have various nefarious reasons for this in our personal view which we won’t expand upon too much. Kamala apparently thought that giving faceless cookies representing her likeness to journalists on Air Force 2 yesterday would be a good idea. Perhaps some of the media “lap-dogs” did like it, but she was dragged on the internet for the idea, which was in poor taste to many. U.S. House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) said:
“On her way back from Mexico City, VP Kamala Harris should stop by McAllen, Texas—a border community overwhelmed by illegal immigrants, drug cartels, and COVID risks. No guarantee that the flight serves cookies of her likeness, but it’s just a 2-hour plane ride.”

“I thought someone gave Kamala cookies that look like her. That would’ve been a cute gift. Instead, she gave cookies that look like her to other people. That’s a narcissistic AF and a totally weird gift.” Some other tweets critical of Harris’ cookie idea can be seen below as well.

As a former Military Aide during the Clinton administration, I never even imagined this level of narcissism. And, all on YOUR tax dollars America!

Democrats, even you can’t be cool with this.@KamalaHarris https://t.co/OXxVQHPxBh
Kamala kind of left herself wide open for this with faceless cookies of herself https://t.co/7R1UYdKzyh

It’s unclear if Harris is beginning to take her “border czar” job seriously, or if she is just paying lip service to the situation by making appearances and statements. Perhaps Joe Biden is mad about all the backlash due to the Biden Border Crisis and is telling her to finally take action. We can’t say for sure.
Unfortunately, it’s not likely the Biden/Harris administration is going to do much to stem the flow of illegal or legal immigration which, in the eyes of many, is hurting American workers, disrupting American culture, and creating more political division and disunity among Americans.
Former President Trump recently spoke at a NC GOP event and harped on the current administration regarding the immigration crisis. He said that if Joe Biden had simply continued Trump’s policies, theoretically he’d be successful. Instead, Trumps says, Biden has basically reversed and in some cases made worse many of the policies and successes Donald Trump had while president.
This and other reason may motivate Trump to think more seriously about running again in 2024. As the political pendulum swings, there just may be another chance for Trump to take back power if the Biden administration continues on the current trajectory.
