Political and sports commentator Keith Olbermann was permanently banned from Twitter Thursday. This didn’t stop him from using his dog’s Twitter account to slam Musk, sharing his podcast and a video sharing his feelings on the matter.
The video starts with a close-up shot of Olbermann, “Hey I don’t know if this got any publicity anywhere, but apparently I’ve been permanently banned from Twitter by Elon Musk, for not doing something he claimed he would never ban anybody for doing.”
Olbermann upset over the ban then attacks Musk, “What a friggin candy ass, lying, hypocritical, self-contradicting, little paranoid snowflake, that apartheid Clyde really is.”
“And I was hardly the most important journalist or commentator who got it; Aaron Rupar, Donie O’Sullivan, Ryan Mac,” he added. It’s the baptism scene from The Godfather movie, and we all got whacked by don Elon Muskleone.”
“For a moment last night, I thought, you know he did this just so we all would forget about Donald Trump’s stupid baseball cards from yesterday let me talk about that too.” summarizing the podcast he just released. “Plus Thurber in the catbird seat and much more on the Friday Count Down podcast. Now available where you freaking get your podcasts, except Twitter because you know.”
In his theatrical meltdown advertisement for his podcast, he also requests that it be shared and retweeted.
Below is the tweet from his dog’s account, it isn’t apparent if this account will also be banned as he has used it to evade the ban on his personal account.
After a stalker followed a car containing one of Musk’s children, believing he was also in the car, Musk had taken strong action to protect himself and his family. This has led to many journalists being banned from Twitter.
The journalists are outraged and taking the mainstream media by storm complaining about their bans. Olberman is not different, he is using his own platform to rant about his ban, using theatrics and colorful language to lure listeners in.
The battle between Musk and mainstream media seems to be raging on.
