‘What a Waste of Time’ Greg Kelly Mocks Procession to Deliver Articles of Impeachment Against Trump

Tonight, House managers were shown walking to the Senate to deliver the articles of impeachment against former President Trump in a procession that was broadcast on mainstream news networks.

Newsmax’s Greg Kelly took to Twitter to mock the procession in a series of tweets, calling them out, and in the first one, he stated, “What a waste of time.”

Kelly added, “Look at that silly ‘pomp and circumstance’ as they Harass Former President Trump. Leave him alone and try doing what you’re supposed to do. The People’s Business!!!!!”

Kelly wondered in the next tweet, “Why can’t they just email it?”

In the next tweet, Kelly called the situation a “TOTAL SCAM!”

Kelly then offered some advice in the next tweet and suggested they should, “STOP. ABOUT FACE. AND GET BACK TO WORK.”

Pointing out that the procession was being broadcast, Kelly said in the next tweet, “A ‘television event’—-all we need is ROGER MUDD to tell us about this ‘signficance of this moment’———notice how they had the cameras all Set Up to capture this SILLY PARADE? How do we get our Money Back? We’re paying for this nonsense!”

Kelly then mocked CBS’ Norah O’Donnell, who can be heard in the clip that he repeatedly shares, and said sarcastically, “Happy that @NorahODonnell can point out the name of the Sergeant of Arms and the Clerk. NEWZ YOU CAN USE.”

“I am deeply moved by the solemnity of this moment for our country. NOT…..what a freaking JOKE. The SWAMP serving the SWAMP. Nuts,” Kelly said sarcastically in the next tweet.

Referencing “the swamp” again, Kelly calls out the “Typical Swamp Congress. They send 15 people to walk two folders to the other side of a building. Wasteful!”

Kelly concludes the Twitter rant by simply tweeting, “Walk of SHAME” along with the clip one last time.
