U.S. House Rep Nancy Mace (R-SC) who ran on Trump’s coattails, and then abandoned him later, has been called a RINO by many. Despite this, she has attempted to keep her prominence in the Republican party, appearing often on TV and having lukewarm opinions on former President Donald Trump.
Recently she had her house attacked by Antifa with vandalism and did a video seeking to gain sympathy. Some suggested she set the attack up, but we are not implying that, only that it is interesting that some would think that.
Mace is now seeking more attention in our view, posting a video that to us, doesn’t seem very becoming for a U.S. House Rep. This video is potentially even more embarrassing than some of the wine-drinking live streams posted by U.S. House Rep Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY).
In the grainy video as you can see below, Mace is chowing down on a Twinkie, looking kind of rough. Although it was just a short clip, not long like AOC’s, it is a little embarrasing and in our view she may actually want to take it down.
“I’m definitely eating my feelings this morning. It’s been a stressful 24 hours”, says mace, as she stuffs her face with a Twinkie.
Mace has probably had a rough time. We would never make light of someone who had their home attacked, even if they don’t like Trump. But she should probably log off Twitter.

This is not an uncommon story. Back when Donald Trump was president, and even now that he isn’t, many who turn on Trump often have their political lives go down in flames, as the GOP is pretty much the party of Donald Trump even still. Others like Adam Kinzinger (R-IL), the U.S. House Rep who has bashed Trump and voted against him many times lately, have lost many friends.
It is likely that Kingzinger will face a primary challenger soon as well, as more than one person has already announced that they plan to do so. If Kinzinger wasn’t planning on staying anyway, then it may not be a big deal for him.
Recently Elise Stefanik took over Liz Cheney’s leadership role in the U.S. House as Cheney (R-WY) was stripped of her position by pro-Trump Republicans. Stefanik (R-NY) is now the new GOP Conference Chair. Although she’s arguably no more conservative than Cheney, her support for Trump, outwardly anyway, has made a big difference.
Trump will likely command a presence in the GOP for some time, despite being unelected and banned from Twitter and Facebook. He will likely go down in history as one of the most loved underdogs of all time. Mace’s future on the other hand, is murky, as she really needs to get it together in our view. We wish her the best.
