U.S. House Rep Ted Lieu (D-CA), who once called Donald Trump a “racist,” has deemed Neil Young “cool.”
Lieu’s statement came in a quote tweet of Apple Music, who has now dubbed itself the “home” of Young’s music catalog.
It appears that the music streaming and downloading service is taking a side in the situation as its rival, Spotify, removed Young’s music after an ultimatum over Joe Rogan.
Lieu declared in the quote tweet, “Neil Young is cool” after Apple Music had called itself, “The home of Neil Young.”

Even prior to the decision by Spotify, Apple Music had appeared to take Young’s side by tweeting, “It’s always a good idea to stream @NeilYoungNYA.”

Although Apple Music may have won some over in that scenario, many on the left have responded to their tweet by pointing out that both Joe Rogan and Steve Bannon are available under the Apple Podcasts.
Twitter user “Chris” responded, “I prefer @joerogan thanx.”
